The following information relates to the personal data processed when: a) registering an account; b) using the UPlanIt website and/or mobile application; c) using any services offered by UPlanIt; and d) offering Services to UPlanIt Users on the UPlanIt website and/or mobile application as set out in the Terms of Service.

Who is collecting the personal data?

UPlanIt Limited (company number: 11889138), 86-90 Paul Street Paul Street, London, England, EC2A 4NE operates the Site/App. We are the controllers of the data being processed in relation to the use of the website, mobile application and services offered by UPlanIt. All personal data will be stored on servers owned by Uplanit.

Why is personal data being collected and how will it be used?

The lawful basis for processing the above personal information is the fulfilment of the contract as set out in the Terms of Service, and the consent provided by the Supplier as part of the signup process. The Terms of Service set out the contract that allows you to set up an account with UPlanIt, utilise the website, mobile application and services and offer your services on UPlanIt to Users.

The personal data provided by you to us will be used exclusively for the following purposes:

  • Creating an account with UPlanIt
  • Verifying your identity
  • Offering marketing material
  • Setup your organisation on UPlanIt
  • Offer your Services to Users on UPlanIt
  • Granting access to the UPlanIt marketplace
  • Facilitating the process of Suppliers and Users entering into contracts for the provision of goods, services and venues

Who is personal data shared with

Your personal data will be kept private and confidential. Once your Organisation and Outlet/Venue, see Terms of Service for details, are set up, Users will be able to see your Services and be able to book goods, services and/or venues. Users will be able to see your business details (including business name, address, working hours etc) which is publicly available information. If you are a sole trader, Users who book your services will be able to see your address and trading name.

If you enter into a contract for the provision of goods, services or venue with a User, as per the Terms of Service, the User will be able to see the following personal information:

  • Full name (if a sole trader is trading under their personal name)
  • Postal address (if sole trader is using home address)
  • Contact details
  • Email
  • *insert any further personal data Users will see*

Where do we get the personal information from

All personal information is provided by you during the registration process of setting up a UPlanIt account.

Storage duration/criteria for specifying the storage duration:

Your personal data will be kept securely by UPlanIt for the duration of your a) use of the UPlanIt website, mobile application; b) UPlanIt services; c) offering your services to Users on UPlanIt.

Your personal data will be deleted immediately after any requests made by you to have your personal data deleted. To make such a request, please email [email protected].

In the event that you delete your UPlanIt account, your personal information will be deleted within 3 months after your account has been deleted.

In the event of any investigation for fraudulent activity or legal proceedings, personal data will be held until the proceedings and any related activities are completed.

In the event that UPlanIt suspends or terminates your account, your personal data will be deleted within 30 days.

Your rights

Your right to rectification - You have the right to ask us to rectify personal data you think is inaccurate. You also have the right to ask us to complete information you think is incomplete.

Your right to erasure - You have the right to ask us to erase your personal data in certain circumstances.

Your right to restriction of processing - You have the right to ask us to restrict the processing of your personal data in certain circumstances.

Your right to object to processing - You have the right to object to the processing of your personal data in certain circumstances.

Your right to data portability - You have the right to ask that we transfer the personal data you gave us to another organisation, or to you, in certain circumstances.

Your right to withdraw consent – When we use consent as our lawful basis you have the right to withdraw your consent.

You don’t usually need to pay a fee to exercise your rights. If you make a request, we have one calendar month to respond to you.
